Robert Nixon is a real estate expert and entrepreneur based in New York City. Currently ½ of the the Nixon McGowan Team at Casandra Properties in Staten Island, they are two of the island’s most productive, well-regarded and ambitious commercial real estate agents. Since joining the company in 2014, he has been directly involved in over $150 million in transactions. Some of his more recent executed leases include national brands such as AutoZone, Wendy’s, We Rock the Spectrum and key local market concepts including Angelina’s Kitchen and Goal Mine Health Club.

While Robert covers the full gamut of the industry, his expertise lies in investment sales, retail leasing, and industrial transactions. Robert has exceptional negotiating skills, a strong work ethic, and prides himself on his ability to anticipate and prepare for emerging market trends.

Robert is also involved in the Casandra Properties’ new development projects on the North Shore including Empire Outlets, Urby, and Minthorne, along with South Shore projects such as South Shore Commons. Some of his community affiliations include the Executive Club of Staten Island, I am Empowering, and more. Robert Nixon is also a Board Member of the Building Industry Association of NYC, Inc. He is licensed in both NY and NJ.

In April 2019, Rob Nixon was recognized for his achievements as one of Staten Island Economic Development Corporation’s 20 Under 40 in March 2019.
